Prince Louis is growing up looking up to Prince George — and having some cheeky fun along the way! Prince Louis clearly has his big brother on his radar — and isn’t above having a little fun about it!

On May 5, Prince William and Kate Middleton brought their three children — Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, 7 — to a surprise public appearance at the start of the royal family’s VE Day commemorations. The outing marked the children’s first official royal event of the year as they joined their parents, grandfather King Charles and other family members for a military parade and patriotic flypast at Buckingham Palace.

During the military procession down The Mall, cameras caught a delightfully relatable brother moment: as George casually flipped his hair, his younger brother, Louis, immediately mimicked the move with an exaggerated gesture of his own.

Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis Step Onto Palace Balcony for Powerful Tribute

In a moment seen on the Daily Mail Instagram Reel, Prince George calmly pushed back his hair to keep it in place amid the windy weather. Watching closely, Louis quickly followed suit — either inspired by his big brother or cheekily copying him — with an exaggerated flick of his own.

But while George’s hair stayed put, Louis wasn’t quite as lucky. Just seconds later, the 7-year-old let out an expressive sigh and tried to blow his bangs away as they flopped right back into place.

It was a small but charming glimpse into the bond between the Wales brothers — one future King, the other clearly enjoying every second of playing the little brother role!

The lighthearted moment was reminiscent of a similar scene at The Big Help Out following King Charles’ coronation in May 2023, when George flipped back his hair after catching his reflection of a car window.

The snippet was within a quick clip on TikTok that went viral with over 750,000 views, and connected to when Princess Kate would fix George’s hair when he was younger.

Prince Louis Steals the Spotlight with Playful Moment with Prince William During VE Day Celebrations

The Prince and Princess of Wales’ three kids were at their royal best at the first celebrations commemorating the 80th anniversary of VE (Victory in Europe) Day, and a lip reader speculated that William had a totally relatable parenting moment with Louis.

“Wasn’t this supposed to be fun?” Prince Louis reportedly said from his seat during the military procession, according to The Sun‘s lip reader, Nicola Hickling.
